6. THE COMPETITION

All participating countries will receive an allocation of 32 dogs (max. 8 in any one category). The organising country can send 1 team (4 dogs) extra per category. All these allocations are valid for both the Team and the Individual Event.

Each NCO has the right to nominate competitors and to send the entries to the organiser by May 31st at the latest.
▪
A list of reserve dogs and handlers can be attached to the entries (A country can send 1 reserve dog per 4 dogs, in each category). The reserve may take the place of an original entry, should the original competitor have to be replaced. The reserve may also be allocated an entry in case of an available spot after the closing of entries.
The registration portal will open no later than the end of March. According to FCI regulations, it will close on May 31st.
Only the respective national representatives of the junior and senior teams can submit entries.These individuals must contact us by then, providing their relevant email addresses. Further communication will then take place via this method.
No, the spectators sit on the large covered grandstand at the head of the course or in the opposite area at the foot of the course.
All dogs must have intact vibrissae (of normal length for their breed). Medically necessary exceptions require an official veterinary certificate. Section 6 of the Animal Welfare Act (TierSchG) Prohibition of amputation: The shortening or removal of vibrissae is legally classified as "temporary amputation." This is prohibited for animals, such as dogs and cats, because the hairs serve as a sensitive sensory organ.
